On June 21, 2025, the walls of the Baku Crystal Hall will host an exciting event for all MMA fans - the UFC Fight Night 260 tournament

The main event of the evening will be a light heavyweight bout between Jamal Hill and Khalil Rountree. The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 303 in June, but was postponed after Rountree accidentally reportedly used a banned substance, which could have resulted in a four-and-a-half-month suspension. Hill was also unable to compete due to an injury.

Rountree, who has a 13-6 record, fought Alex Pereira for the title in October and lost via fourth-round knockout. The loss snapped his impressive five-fight winning streak. Hill, who has a 12-3 record, previously won the vacant light heavyweight title in 2023 but was forced to relinquish it after suffering an Achilles tendon rupture.

The fight between Hill and Rountree will be a historic moment for UFC Baku and will air on ABC in the United States. The event will also feature a lightweight bout between Rafael Fiziev and Ignacio Bahamondes.

In addition, Kyoji Horiguchi's return to the octagon will be one of the highly anticipated moments of the evening. The Japanese fighter has not competed since 2016, but is preparing to face Russian lightweight Tagir Ulanbekov, who is ranked tenth in the UFC rankings.
